PSE State Orgnization Endorsing candidates for Governor? All PSE of WA SEIU 1948 the state wide organization usually endorses a spcific candidate for Governor and other major state offices. The manner in which a candidate is choosen involves the state Executive Board, the state Legislative Council and the state Board of Directors. A decision will be made Saturday June 9. Donna Foley, our representative on the Board of Directors would like some input from Western Chapter members. It is not the local Western Chapter that will be endorsing a candidate, but the state-wide leadership. If you feel strongly post your feelings here - or on the Facebook page.

as a new member and just stumbling upon this, i am extremely concerned about the endorsement of a gubernatorial candidate whose ideology follows a party line that is firmly against public unions and promotes charter schools. i'm not sure how the state PSE was able to justify splitting the general pro-labor vote as being beneficial to its constituents. did no one follow what went on in Wisconsin last year? I don't consider McKenna anywhere near being a moderate republican. i have questions.
