Bargaining Update as of July 29

All

We have another full day of bargaining scheduled for Wed 8/4 and a possible 1/2 day Thursday 8/5.

We have reached tentative agreement on the articles listed below. Per our ground rules, specific information can only be provided at a ratification or chapter voting session. If the item is not listed below there has been no resolution on the article.

Here are the articles that have a tentative agreement:

Article 3 - Rights of the Union
Article 4 - PSE Representatives
Article 5 - Rights of the Employee
Article 6 - Legal Defense
Article 7 - Reasonable Accommodating of Employees w/ Disabilities
Article 8 - Nondiscrimination & Affirmative Action
Article 11 - Management Rights
Article 18 - Vacation Leave
Article 19 - Sick Leave
Article 22 - Leave w/o Pay
Article 23 - Military Leave
Article 24 Misc Paid Leaves
Article 35 - Personnel Files
Article 41 - Authorized Per Diem & Mileage
Article 50 - Term of Agreement
Appendix A - Unit definitions and a list of job classifications

Does this mean there will be no revelation of what's in the proposed contract until something like an hour before we vote on it? I hope we have more time than that to digest and discuss it.
